Thursday 6 June at 18:00: visit to chairman Sven-Erik Bucht and sauna in his fine smoke sauna and wood-fired sauna. Transport, towels, food and drink included. Price SEK 650/person, max 20 participants. Friday 7 June at 17:00: excursion to Lapland View Lodge on Mount Luppio, a newly built venue with a sauna and magnificent views. Bus trip, sauna, spa and dinner, departure 17:00 from Kukkolaforsen, with a visit to the summit to see the light of the midnight sun. Price SEK 870/person. Saturday 8 June, National Sauna Day at Kukkolaforsen: 13:00 Annual Meeting of the Swedish Sauna Academy; 13:00 outdoor activity for those not attending the meeting; 14:00 welcome; 14:15 sauna contest for group 1; 14:15 seminar for group 2 with sauna doctor Hans Hägglund and Åsa Engström on sauna habits in Norrbotten and Västerbotten, Earric Lee on "Heat therapy and sauna bathing", and Tommy Rauhala from Bastufolket on Sauna Tour Sweden and his sauna trailer; 15:30 sauna contest group 2; 15:30 seminar group 1; 17:30 sauna in at least 8 different saunas and hot tubs, dip in the Torne River; 18:00 musical entertainment all evening with national fiddler Daniel Wikslund; 18:30 aufguss in the village sauna; 19:00 outdoor dinner with delicacies from the Torne Valley; 19:30 more sauna and a dip in the Torne River; 22:00 sausage grilling and sauna until sunrise (sponsored by NordChark).
