Board meeting at Bodensia
The Swedish Sauna Academy held a working meeting ahead of Sauna Congress 2018 and a board meeting at the Bodensia hotel in Boden.
We were met by a smiling hotel manager, Barbro, who welcomed us and showed us to our conference room. Later in the afternoon, once the whole board had gathered, we received good information from the hotel owner Per and manager Barbro about Hotel Bodensia and what the hotel can offer. In the evening the disc jockey Anders Dahlquist held his 50th anniversary at the hotel and we were offered free entry, but we chose to visit the sauna once we had finished our work. A lift to the 9th floor and then a number of stairs to the very top of Bodensia, where there is a sauna on two levels. Floor 1 for all hotel guests and floor 2 with two VIP saunas. We were captivated by the magnificent view over the town and its surroundings. Once inside the sauna we had the same view and a wonderful heat and humidity coming from a large sauna stove. In the relaxation area we were met by good refreshments in a cool setting, still with the magnificent view. The sauna was approved and the sauna shield was presented to the manager Barbro.
